The magic of Portuguese cinema is captivating Poland!

Kinooceany – Portuguese Film Week is a travelling film festival showcasing 23 Portuguese films spanning from the 1960s to the present day. It offers a rare opportunity to discover the richness of Portuguese auteur cinema – poetic, thought-provoking, and deeply human.

After passing through Katowice, the festival is now taking place in Łódź (6–15 June at the National Centre for Film Culture), followed by Warsaw (20–29 June at Kino Muranów) and Gdańsk (5–14 September at the Institute of City Culture).

Special guests include renowned directors João Botelho and André Gil Mata, as well as the festival’s curators Agnieszka Szeffel and João Ricardo Oliveira, experts in Portuguese film history.

For cinema lovers and fans of Lusophone culture, this is an unmissable event!
