🎙️ A Tua Voz em Direito 3: Identification by the Police

Produced in collaboration with Fundacja Portugalia.

By: Ernestyna Niemiec – Polish lawyer

Throughout the episode, we explain the legal grounds that allow authorities to identify citizens, which documents may be requested, and in what contexts this may occur. We also discuss some common examples, such as the identification of suspects of offences, witnesses to incidents, persons wanted by the authorities, or situations in which the police act on the order of other authorities.

An essential episode for better understanding the rights and duties of citizens when interacting with the police.
